Our slogan is “Our Grass Is Greener”.  Later I’ll talk with Port Hueneme Chief of Police Andrew Salinas.  I hope your cannabis gardens are looking great.

Strain of the Week:  Sweet Diesel is a cross of Sour Diesel and OG Kush.  This had a floral almost fruity aroma and taste with a light gas flavor at the end.  This Sweet Diesel was a good daytime smoke.  This felt a bit heavy and the package says 29%, it didn’t feel like it to me.  It felt good but it didn’t feel like 29%.  But a decent smoke for the price $25 for ⅛.

Strain of the Week: Blue Banana – Is a cross of Blue Dream Haze x Banana OG and is sativa-dominate with a 26% THC.  This flower has a smell and flavor of overripe bananas and sweet berries.  This weed is a bit of a creeper so be aware, it sneaks up on you and it gave me the munchies.  The internet says it’s that patients use it for swift relief of symptoms associated with chronic pain, depression, nausea, appetite loss and insomnia.

Show Notes:  Welcome to Ep. 134.  Today is a different show.  I talk with Aaron Agustis who is the founder of Veterans Cannabis Group (https://veteranscannabisgroup.com/) and a veteran himself of “ Operation Iraquie Freedom”.  We had an honest conversation about some of his experiences as a soldier and as a veteran returning home from a war zone.  He also shares some of the things to expect from the VA concerning cannabis.

HR 712 VA medical cannabis research Act of 2019

This bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to conduct a clinical trial of the effects of medical-grade cannabis on the health outcomes of covered veterans diagnosed with chronic pain, and also those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. Covered veterans are those who are enrolled in the VA patient enrollment system for hospital care and medical services.

Show Notes:   Welcome to Ep. 133.  Later Rodney is back to talk about the MORE Act vote.  Correction on 28.3 grams = an ounce.  I got a bulletin from CDFA about AGRO GRO WS.

Strain of the Week:  Autumn OG – Great looking flower that came in at 26% THC.  This is seem to be Autumn Brands version of the OG kush.  It has that earthy, piney, touch of musky odor and taste.  This is a heavy smoke, not a “get to work” weed, I was lit like a christmas tree.  It came on fast and strong and kept me there but the come down wasn’t a crash’n’nap time.  It was a nice gradual step back down to sober.

Report from the cannabis front line:

Mexico –  Chamber of Deputies hearings – Which are the Deputies of Justice, Health, Human Rights and Budget and Public Accounts Committees are all taking up the cannabis reform bill, and advocates expect it will be cleared for a final floor vote on Wednesday.

Conversations with:  Rodney and me talk about the MORE Act.  The “MORE Act” passed the Congress and still needs to be voted on by the Senate.

Listen: https://inmygrowshow.libsyn.com/ep-126-patrick-goggin-and-delta-8-thc

Show Notes:  Welcome to Ep. 126.  Later I got Patrick Goggins back.  CannaQueen is starting her own YouTube show and I’ll be co-host.  It’s called “Candid with Canna Queen”.  We’re going to be live at 9pm EST. 6pm PST.  Unpack taster pack and product reviews.  Dosist vape cartridge..taste like pine lemon to me

Social Media: We are doing a seed giveaway with Canna Queen Genetics check the shows IG account @inmygrowshow for the repost and rules.  One lucky winner will win a pack of Butter Cream Haze seeds and a pack of Queen White Haze seeds also.  Winner will be announced on ep. 127.

Strain of the Week:  Hazel Berry a.k.a.Haze Berry – Sativa dominant cross between Super Silver Haze and the famous Blueberry.  17.5 THC.  To me it smelled like pine trees and sugar.  The flower looked great and the flavor was mostly pine.  The high was nice, wasn’t too racey and the come down was smooth, not a crash.  It was a decent high for the price, $35.  I did have one issue with it.  I was surprised that it was dry when I opened it, even with a humidity pack.  That tells me it’s been sitting in the package for awhile.  Packaged in June

Intro

Greetings everyone welcome to Ep. 50.  I didn’t put out a show last week because i decided to watch the big game.  Later I’ll play a conversation I had with Stefan Kirchanski who is among other things is a lawyer that specializes in plant patent law.  The “Pest of the Week” continues with “root aphids”. A cool resource I found to help identify bugs is BugGuide.net.
